Megan Oliphant declared herself a writer at the age of 10, when she co-wrote with her two best friends “The King Foot” and read it to her fifth grade class. It's the classic story of a boy who falls into an underground kingdom ruled by a giant foot who then tries to squash him when the boy won't bow down and kiss his big toe.She has since moved on to other epic tales usually involving small boys and rockets, per the request of her four year old son. She mainly enjoys writing escapist stories where she can torture her hapless characters with all kinds of vile and disturbing problems.
