WIP (Work in Progess)

As writers we know that WIP means a work in progress. We generally refer to our latest project or book as a WIP. But I think the key word in that phrase is "work". We generally think of the word work as a noun in that phrase, but the truth is we need to see the word work as a verb or our WIP won't ever get finished.
