Just to help you guys keep track of how much (or how little) time you have left until the Totally Cliché Contest deadline, we've added a little countdown widget on the top right-hand corner of the blog.
One matter of business we need to discuss regarding the contest....
We want very much to ensure that our published ebook looks and feels as professional as possible. With that in mind we would like to let each of you know that any and all submissions accepted for inclusion in our Totally Cliché ebook will be expected to edit their story for any grammatical errors we find. And, if need be, for clarity. We unintentionally omitted this detail from the contest announcement. We have no intention of altering any story or asking the writer to "change" their work. Don't worry. We'll only ask you to change something if, for example, you accidentally tell us the character's eyes are blue in the first paragraph and then in the last paragraph tell us they're red. Do you catch my point?
Now for something a little fun. At LDStorymakers the MC was Sarah Eden. She did an amazing job and kept the audience in stitches. One of her clever entertainment devices was little videos. This was my favorite. Enjoy.
Any comments on this post will count towards our mini-contest.
